Less digging through settings

A small panel.
A useful bit of control.

01

Pick where the sound goes.

Change Windows’ default audio output or input. Keep your speakers, headphones, and microphones in one place.

02

Keep your own setup.

Rename or hide devices, keep remembered volume, and choose whether Patch Bay starts with Windows.

03

Know what’s active.

Electric blue feedback marks your selection. Keyboard controls and a tray menu help keep the panel easy to reach. Animation respects reduced-motion settings.

Before you buy

Know what to expect.

Patch Bay 1.1.0 is intended for Windows 11 x64. Compatibility depends on your PC, audio devices, drivers, and apps.

  • It changes Windows default devices. Apps with their own audio selection may keep using those devices.
  • Microphone mute affects the default microphone. It is not an all-microphone mute or a recording indicator.
  • The app does not record or transmit audio. Preferences and diagnostic logs stay on your PC unless you share them.
  • Support is a best-effort attempt while the program is maintained. A fix, future updates, and a support duration are not guaranteed.
